A Little About Me:
I grew up in Westphalia and even attended St. Joseph School back when it, and I, were much smaller. I received my Bachelor's degree in History and Anthropology from Missouri State University in Springfield. I am currently enrolled at Columbia College, where I am working on my Middle School Social Studies Certification as well as my Masters in Education. I love to travel. My favorite trip so far has been to Greece, where I spent a summer working on an archaeological dig. I've also been to several zoos across the United States. My favorite zoo visits so far have been to the Omaha Zoo in Nebraska and the Phoenix Zoo in Arizona. I also love to read. I grew up reading the Harry Potter series and have read way more books than I could possibly count. Some of my other hobbies include golfing, watching Cardinals baseball, and spending time with my family. I love orange creme sodas by the pool in the summer and making paper snowflakes while wearing warm fuzzy socks in the winter. When it comes to school and learning, I want my classroom to be a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. I myself make mistakes sometimes, and I don't expect any of my students to be perfect. However, I do expect all of my students to try their hardest and be responsible for their own actions. I believe each student comes into the classroom with their own unique skills and talents. It is my job as a teacher to help my students use these unique skills and talents to be successful. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me anytime.
