REMINDERS
Medications sent to school must be in the original container. Complete one “Blue Note from Home” for each medication. Do not send loose pills
in a Ziploc bag. Do not allow your child to keep medicine, even cough drops, in their pockets and book bags.
Did you know that you may send over the counter meds with a note stating, for example, give one Tylenol for pain if needed or give one TUMS for
upset stomach as needed? These OTC meds will be kept in the nurse’s office and given as needed throughout the year, very handy for kids with braces or frequents tummy aches. Mark the start date with the current date and the stop date 5/00/16.
If your child takes an A.M. medications but they often forget it during the morning rush, please send a dose to be stored in my office. With a
quick phone call from you I can give the missed does at school.
Don't let fear keep you from sharing important information about your child.
Health information is confidential.
